Kind of Human

Hello!

I want to start a discussion around the topic of “Human Species”. What does this mean to you?

How do you define our “species”? Is it only biological factors, or do we also take into account cultural, social, and psychological factors?

I wonder how our perception of our “species” has evolved over time. What changes have occurred and what influences caused them?

Let’s share views and thoughts! I am curious to hear your ideas.

Very interesting question! I think the concept of the human species is complex and multifaceted. It is influenced by society, culture, and our personal experiences. How do we define what it means to be ‘human’ today? It is a constant evolution, in my opinion.

I would add that the discussion about the ‘kind of human’ must take into account technology. Technology changes the way we interact, think, and feel. Will it also change our definition of human? It’s a challenge.

I agree with what has been said. I would like to add that biology also plays an important role. Consider the evolution of our species, the differences between us. We should always take biological data into account.

Another topic is ethics and values. What do we consider right and wrong? This affects our perception of the ‘kind of person’. We must consider:

  • Individual responsibility
  • Social justice
  • Compassion
